UK Tour Finale

The final show of the Jazzmoss UK tour is here at the dawn of Autumn. Jazzmoss is back in London in the very area of its conception, Greenwich. It will be a lively cosy and intimate show in the charming Oliver's Jazz Bar, a fitting close for the very intimate nature of Jazzmoss. The last few shows have been very dynamic and the band will be aiming to top them at this finale. To join fans of Jazzmoss, visit Jazzmoss on facebook  . See an excerpt from the latest review of Jazzmoss below.

Additionally on the day, singer Louisa Le Marchand will officially launch her poetry book, published by GFMA books. For more information on this please visit www.artistlouisa.com .

Latest Review: "Jazzmoss the new collaboration between Greenwich based poet and singer Louisa Le Marchand and Ugandan pianist and multi-instrumentalist Kaz Kasozi, demonstrates the pair's exquisite talent for both songwriting and melody. Le Marchand is in her element, filling the album's 10 songs with beautifully poetic lyrics, and when combined with Kasozi's unpredictable compositions, the effect is highly emotive." Best New UK Jazz Album Nomination

Jazzmoss was nominated for best new UK jazz album in the Paliamentary Jazz awards in Febuary. Unfortunately we didn't win but thanks to all who voted for us to get us in the running for such a nomination. We were glad to even be considered given the great jazz talent around. Perhaps better luck for us next time.
