after studying jazz and contemporary music at leeds college of music (uk), specialising in alto sax, piano and clarinet, and writing songs/playing keyboard for her own band, mix was based in london, working as a session musician while concentrating on her own music, a quirky blend of jazzy triphoppy funk, soulful hippop, with a classical twist...mix wrote, performed on, arranged and produced many albums, and performed songs from them live in london and new york, alongside recording, gigging and touring with countless other singers/musicians...she has also written 2 books of piano music (see below)...now living in barcelona, she is working on new recording and live projects...
